  • Full-time, continuing role based at Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, North Sydney, or Strathfield

The Student Success Directorate (SSD) provides students with support services to promote student engagement in university life; to provide opportunities for the development of student leadership; and to provide opportunities for students to develop graduate attributes making them career ready professionals.

The Student Life Coordinator (Programs) will coordinate programs, events and activities that encourage a sense of belonging in an inclusive and diverse community; engage the ACU community in its commitment to justice, equity and the common good; and foster students’ social, cultural, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing.

More specifically the role entails:

  • Coordinating the ACU Orientation program, including the management of logistics, scheduling, stakeholder management, marketing and communications
  • Coordinating the development and delivery of online engagement and community development programs
  • Developing positive and effective working relationships with campus stakeholders, especially students
  • Overseeing, monitoring and maintaining marketing and publications for all Student Life programs, including website content, electronic communications and all print materials

You will need to have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in education or marketing, with experience in event management
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and coordinating community engagement programs preferably in the higher education setting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program budgets with experience identifying and implementing systems and processes that foster effectiveness and efficiency

Total remuneration valued to $107,300 total rem - $116,130 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $90,670 - $98,131 (pro rata) pa (Higher Education Worker Level 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
