Exciting opportunity to mentor and develop the Student Life Ambassador Team
Base Salary $100,032 - $108,979 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
As the Student Life Ambassador Coordinator, you will manage an outstanding casual Student Life Ambassador team, develop, and implement innovative recruitment, training and development programs for student casuals, complete rosters and manage day to day supervision, and oversee all associated administrative and information processes for effective program delivery.
You will support the delivery of any new initiatives delivered by the Student Life Ambassadors, provide information to support ongoing evaluation and iterative development of the program’s initiatives and coordinate referrals to teams in Student Life and across the University whilst ensuring excellence in program delivery.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
work within a dynamic team in the Student Life Cluster
coordinate and deliver key projects included in the Student Life Ambassador (SLA) program
effectively manage a team of peer programs staff
support program governance and reporting procedures to monitor project delivery
develop and maintain systems and processes that facilitate the management of high-volume student enquiries and communications by peer program staff
support and coordinate communications and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
coordinate and deliver a variety of student engagement events
general HR processing for the student life cluster.
About you
tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a related field
experience working with peer leaders, advisors, and students in a culturally diverse environment
ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative to resolve day to day matters and escalating issues as appropriate
demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships within and across teams
excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of program and training documentation
excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills
