University Program Management Office
The University Project Management Office (UPMO) provides a permanent portfolio, program, and project management office to support the planning, delivery and reporting of the University’s project portfolio, including the City Campus program.  

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and suitably experienced individual to drive the planning and successful delivery of a range of strategic projects and programs, including ECU City Campus initiatives.  

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Management of programs and projects from inception to completion, including all aspects of the program and project management lifecycle. 
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships and strategic partnerships across teams, directorates, and schools, including effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure program and project deliverables are met.
  • Developing, leading, and delivering on all aspects of the program and project management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in project management across the full life cycle from identification to completion, including experience managing and leading a team. You will be passionate about planning and day to day management of projects in a higher education environment and have highly developed relationship building and negotiation skills.

You will be thoroughly familiar with one or more project or program management methodologies, such as PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile. Postgraduate qualifications in program or project management and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation, will see you well equipped to confidently plan, coordinate, and deliver projects and programs.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence, and Courage.

Benefits and Remuneration
This full-time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $127,851 to $145,590 pa including market loading plus 17% University superannuation contribution.

You will be based in Joondalup and may be required to travel to ECU Wellington St or Mount Lawley on occasion.
