The Opportunity

The Education Impact team has an exciting opportunity available for a Strategic Information Analyst. The Strategic Information Analyst provides data-driven advice, guidance, and a range of complex analytical services to support the continual improvement of education delivery at Monash. 

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for managing and undertaking a range of advanced analytical services to inform business decision-making, monitor performance, support business improvement, planning and new initiatives. You will provide strategic support and expert advice, insight and guidance to senior management to inform initiatives and decisions. This role requires you to undertake research, benchmarking, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, modelling, and data visualisation, and to present your findings to a variety of audiences in written and spoken form.

The position is highly suited to applicants with postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in data analytics, social sciences (e.g. economics, psychology), or related fields. The ideal candidate will have substantial analysis experience, including a high level knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, and experience working with large datasets.
