The Education Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.

The Students group shapes, designs and delivers key student services and experiences to prepare RMIT students for study, life and the global workforce. We work in partnership with students, academics, professional staff, industry and the community to deliver transformative student experiences that improve access, participation, retention and success for all RMIT students.

POSITION AVAILABLE

We are seeking a passionate sport and fitness focused individual to coordinate and facilitate on-campus sporting events.

Our ideal candidate has a love for fitness and/or e-sports, strong communications skills, and a passion for inclusivity and community.

Up to 20 hours per week available, commencing in mid-February.

KEY RESPONSILIBITIES

  • Work closely with RMIT sporting clubs and other stakeholders to deliver inclusive, accessible sport opportunities.
  • Contribute to key sports related campaigns, events and activations and work in partnership
  • Work closely with the event delivery team throughout the group
  • Promote volunteer roles to students across all campuses, recruit, provide training and deliver feedback on performance.
  • Perform Risk Assessment processes
  • Cultivate a safe and inclusive environments for all
  • Contribute to communication and engagement plans and execution to maximise participation and student outcomes.
  • Other duties consistent with the level of the position and focus on the group as required.
