  • Level 6 - Salary range: $83,005 - $87,723 plus 17% superannuation

About the team  

Campus Management is responsible for planning, designing, developing and managing the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research and campus life. Campus Management delivers a range of University-wide services including strategic planning, property management, facilities operations, major projects and developments, sustainability, landscape, security and transport. 

About the opportunity  

As the appointee you will, under limited direction, provide high level coordination and maintenance of the University’s record drawings. You will provide high level technical support to the area’s Computer Assisted Design (CAD), graphic, photographic and database software systems, data and hardware and assist in ensuring that Campus Management, Consultants and University community will have access to the drawing and space data. You will contribute to the implementation and management of relevant software systems to ensure data capture, date integrity and reporting to meet the needs of the University.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate: 

  • Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, GIS or Information Systems, or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Substantial experience in the coordination and maintenance of CAD and/or spatial systems and databases
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team
  • Sound problem solving and decision-making skills

It is desirable if you possess: 

  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft excel, including data analysis
  • Substantial experience in developing and refining systems and processes
  • Substantial experience using Archibus
  • Experience with commercial interior layouts
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • High level graphical communication skills
  • High level computer skills, particularly in the configuration of databases such as Archibus and CAD software
