As the Solution Architect, you will:
• develop scope and technical plans for business change programs and projects
• develop and lead the delivery of complex solution architecture and design to meet business requirements
• conduct a market scan for solution options, analysis and recommend a solution to business stakeholders and university ICT Governance groups
• Ensure alignment of solutions to university’s enterprise architectures principles and standards that address specific business needs
• work effectively with clients and SME to understand technological requirements
• collaborate with, and facilitate stakeholder groups, as part of formal and/or informal consultation

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
• postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, and extensive relevant experience in solutions architecture
• proven expertise in the Microsoft Technology stack (.Net), Java and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions in an object-oriented and service-oriented architecture environment
• experience in the establishment, review and continuous improvement of IT Architecture within a University or similar environment
• develop a high-level solution design for a recommended solution in line with the organisation’s Enterprise Architecture framework
• skills to provide specialist technical advice, support and assistance of a critical and complex nature within an information technology setting covering many technologies and environments
• sound communications skills, both verbal and written, across diverse audiences, ranging from business functional leadership to technical specialists and ability to engage them to achieve target outcomes

Total remuneration valued to $119,665 total rem - $133,785 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $101,118 - $113,050 pa (Higher Education Worker Level 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
