You"ll learn about specifying components, how to utilize broad engineering concepts and research techniques, while also documenting research and design specifications to ensure high-quality software platforms. 

About the role

You will learn about and use; 

  • Agile Scrum
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Programming in C#, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and Angular
  • Cloud technologies
  • Coding best practices
  • Test automation
  • Continuous integration
  • Issue tracking via JIRA 

As part of the software and quality engineering teams, you’ll also be working with other project stakeholders such as:

  • Firmware engineers
  • Marketing
  • Product support
  • Chemists/applications engineers
  • Electronic and Mechanical Engineers 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least a 2nd or 3rd-year student with at least 12 months remaining on their course (can be an undergraduate or postgraduate (Masters or Ph.D.)

  • While experience isn't essential, you'll need to be currently undertaking a university degree in a relevant subject. A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving, willingness to learn and an eagerness to build a pioneering career in R&D or SW Quality are just as important.

About you 

  • Must have unlimited work rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Must be available full time during 2022 

This Internship amounts to $38,000 tax-free for an Undergraduate and $42,000 tax-free for a Post-graduate working full-time for 12 months.
