About the team  

UWA is making significant investment in Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. Utilising technology advancements, these investments will expand UWA’s services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

As part of Enterprise Applications, the CRM team supports the business to deliver core functionality for leads management, student engagement and alumni fundraising. The team is also responsible for integration and policy automation solutions and regularly forms part of larger project teams to deliver major enhancements or new implementations.

About the opportunity  

As the appointee, you will work both collaboratively and independently. You will be responsible for ensuring the solutions are created and maintained in alignment with best practice and internal standards. You will work on business as usual and continuous improvement initiatives as well as work with project services team members on project delivery.  You are required to contribute and provide expertise across the full software development lifecycle from engaging with internal business customers, eliciting software requirements and to research, build, test, support and document solutions.

Preference will be given to those applicants who can demonstrate experience with CRM solutions such as Oracle Service Cloud and/or Blackbaud CRM.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency
  • Substantial relevant experience in developing, implementing, integrating, repairing and maintaining complex application systems
  • Substantial experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email
  • Ability to gather and document requirements appropriate to the applied methodology, e.g. waterfall, agile
  • Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise-grade solutions
  • Proven ability to establish positive stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to recognise and resolve system related problems; work independently and make necessary decisions within guidelines
  • ITIL Certification or demonstrated experience in ITIL processes is desirable
  • Working knowledge of the Higher Education sector is desirable
