  • Salary range is multi-classified, depending on experience:
  • Level 6 $ 84,665 – $ 89,477 OR Level 7 $ 92,679– $ 102,830 OR Level 8 $ 103,364 – $ 112,981 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

About the opportunity 

As the appointee you will operate independently and be i responsible for ensuring that the solutions are created and maintained in alignment with best practice and internal standards. You will work on business as usual and continuous improvement initiatives as well as work with project services team members on project delivery.  You will be required to contribute across the full software development lifecycle from engaging with internal business customers, eliciting software requirements and to research, build, test, support and document solutions.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

  • [Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency
  • Relevant experience with developing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining application systems
  • Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle with an emphasis on analysis and development
  • Ability to gather and document requirements appropriate to the applied methodology, e.g. waterfall, agile
  • Ability to recognise and resolve system related problems; work independently and make necessary decisions within guidelines
  • ITIL Certification or demonstrated experience in ITIL processes is desirable

About you 

To be successful in this role it is essential that you are a highly motivated software developer with oracle forms and reports, oracle integration and web development experience with strong oracle PL/SQL skills. In addition, you will need a working technical knowledge of programming languages, technologies and frameworks, such as Java, jDeveloper, HTML, Javascript, CSS3, XML, Bootstrap, Jquery and ANSI SQL. You will have a strong customer service focus, to provide a high level and responsive service to internal and external clients. Experience with complex enterprise-wide systems, particularly Student Information Management Systems such as Callista, will see you excelling in this role.
