About the team  

UWA is making significant investment in Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. Utilising technology advancements, these investments will expand UWA’s services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

As part of Enterprise Applications, the CRM team supports the business to deliver core functionality for leads management, student engagement and alumni fundraising. The team is also responsible for integration and policy automation solutions and regularly forms part of larger project teams to deliver major enhancements or new implementations.

About the opportunity  

As the appointee you will, under supervised direction, be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are maintained in alignment with best practice and internal standards. You will work on business as usual and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be required to contribute across the full software development lifecycle from engaging with internal business customers, eliciting software requirements and to research, build, test, support and document solutions.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate: 

  • Working towards a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle with an emphasis on analysis and development
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to gather and document requirements appropriate to the applied methodology, e.g. waterfall, agile
  • Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to recognise and resolve system related problems; work independently and make necessary decisions within guidelines
