  • casual contract for 6 months initially (3-5 days per week)

  • HE06 Step 1 $62.72 per hour

About the opportunity 

The Software Developer will work within a team of developers, under the supervision of other developers, and will be required to design, develop, support, and maintain applications within the team.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • develop new web and mobile applications

  • develop new functionality for existing applications

  • provide support for applications

  • analyse requirements outlined by Business Analysts, Support Analysts and key stakeholders, then design programming solutions

  • provide input and participate in estimation and project planning

  • adhere to the appropriate Software Development Lifecycle

About you

Required:

  • degree with subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of qualifications/training and relevant experience

  • experience in developing applications using .NET Core Framework (3.0+) with MVC/Razor Pages/WebAPI

  • experience in developing web applications utilising JavaScript / JQuery & Bootstrap.

  • experience in working with and managing databases in MSSQL.

  • experience in database development using ORM (Entity framework or nHibernate etc.)

  • good understating of cloud-based development (Microsoft Azure PaaS experience preferred)

Desirable:

  • experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD)

  • experience with Infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform etc.)

  • experience working with NoSQL (Elasticsearch, Amazon DynamoDB, Redis)
