  • ASOR1 $49.18 per hour
  • ASOR2 $58.61 per hour for PhD holders
Your new role

We are seeking casual academics to work in our hardware labs in renewable energy at the Green Electric Energy Park with undergraduate and postgraduate students, both face to face and online. In-class performance assessment will also be included in this position.

A laboratory session is 2 hours long, and there 3 to 6 sessions per fortnight available (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – fortnightly). This role will work together with another lab demonstrator, and technical help is available when needed. The sessions are also supervised remotely.

Candidates will have a postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, with experience working with solar PV arrays, wind turbines, hydro power, inverters, batteries, and hydrogen fuel cells. Candidates will also have experience with the Blackboard Learning Management System, and excellent communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree holders are also encouraged to apply and will be considered.

You will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
