As a Senior Test Analyst, you will:
- Establish and demonstrate a high level of learning, energy and commitment and maintain personal integrity and make decisions consistent with University values
- Seek to continuously improve and apply critical learnings from projects and initiatives across the University and actively seek feedback from colleagues and stakeholders
- Plan and oversee all aspects of the end-to-end project to deliver sustainable outcomes, value within constraints of time, cost and quality
- Strive for excellence and consult regularly with clients to clarify who requires the information, the purpose for which it is required, criteria for success and where and when advice and recommendation is required and actively seek feedback from colleagues and stakeholders and communicate with confidence using examples and the most appropriate influencing technique for a given situation to increase understanding and support
- Act as a coach and work with team members to facilitate growth and development by giving balanced, constructive feedback considering individual capability and team performance, in alignment with Deakin’s code of conduct and core university strategies and policies that promote a safe, sustainable and productive working environment.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.(Testing & Quality Assurance)
- Experience working in an IT testing environment, with a clear understanding of testing roles, principles, practices, methodologies, tools and knowledge of software and infrastructure environments, including web, database, networking, desktop and systems.
- Proven ability to develop and execute test cases and achieve milestones
- Demonstrated understanding of change, configuration and release management and knowledge of software and infrastructure environments, including web, database, networking, desktop and systems.
- Proven knowledge of, and experience with performing system, integration and regression testing
