JOONDALUP CAMPUS
$75,821 TO $84,254 PA (HEW 5)
ONGOING, FULL TIME

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, exceptionally customer focused ‘back office’ administrator with experience working in a complex customer-oriented, high volume transaction processing environment to assist students and other customers in the resolution of complex enquiries.

The current vacancy is in the Assessments and Student Records team, where you will be involved in organising examinations across multiple locations, supporting Progression Panels through the processing of progression and completion outcomes, reviewing applications from students seeking academic remission and assisting with enquiries on the phone and by email.  The successful candidate will also be part of a diverse team which offers opportunities for team members to contribute to continuous improvement and to develop networks with colleagues across ECU.

Although initially assigned to the Assessments and Student Records team, you may be rotated to other teams in Student Administration as operational needs arise, and/or to enable your career development (Admissions, Fees and Scholarships, Assessments and Student Records).

We are looking for someone to join the team early February, who demonstrates the following capabilities:

  • Experience in a complex customer-oriented, high-volume transaction processing environment
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to establish priorities, achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • A performance-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to act with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, problem solving, analysis and judgement to provide accurate and appropriate outcomes.

Previous experience in the Higher Education industry, whilst not essential, will be well regarded.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
