Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, exceptionally customer focused ‘back office’ administrator with experience working in a complex customer-oriented, high volume transaction processing environment to assist students and other customers in the resolution of complex student enquiries. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team which offers opportunities for team members to contribute to continuous improvement and to develop networks with colleagues across ECU.

Although initially you will be assigned to the Assessments and Student Records team, you may be moved to other teams as the operational need arises, and/or to enable your career development (Admissions, Fees and Scholarships, Assessments and Student Records). N.B. these are not front facing roles.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and capabilities:

  • Experience in a complex customer-oriented, high-volume transaction processing environment responsible for academic, financial or non-financial type transactions.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to establish priorities, achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • A performance-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to act with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, problem solving, analysis and judgment to provide accurate and appropriate outcomes.

Previous experience in the Higher Education industry, whilst not essential, will be well regarded.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing, part-time position attracts remuneration of $73,257 to $81,404 (pro-rata 50%) plus 17% employer superannuation contribution.
