  • An exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator to provide senior operational support to the School of Biological Sciences and the School of Earth Sciences.
  • Level 6, full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $87,460 – $92,430 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the team
College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and
University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice. The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools.

About the opportunity
As the appointee you will, under general direction, provide senior administrative support to the schools working with the Senior Coordinator (School Operations) and Heads of School, to ensure efficient and effective school operation and use expertise to recommend and implement procedures that support the academic and outreach functions of the Schools.

About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level.
  • Highly developed ability to carry out research and write reports.
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, and email.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing a high level of quality customer service.
