Overview
The School of Business and Law is accredited by AACSB International and develops industry-ready graduates through high-quality teaching and learning experiences and engaged applied research. The School offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and research degrees designed to give students relevant theory, practical work experience and critical employability skills.
In 2022, the School’s Business and Economics discipline was ranked in the Top 250 on the THE World University Rankings, an improvement of over 200 places and two bands in just two years. The School’s Tourism and Hospitality program is ranked in the Top 30 in the ShanghaiRankings. The School houses the ECU Strategic Research Centre for Work + Wellbeing (CW+W) which has been instrumental in raising the profile of the School for research and practice in psychosocial risk at work; appropriate workplace and leadership behaviours; new ways of working; and influencing policy and practice in diversity and inclusion.
As part of an exciting expansion plan, the School of Business and Law will move into the $853 million world-class facilities of the landmark ECU City Campus at Yagan Square in the Perth CBD in 2025. The Role
The Senior School Officer is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support and services to the School. The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with excellent attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes.
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Develop and implement the communications and event management plan to ensure quality delivery of all campaigns and all deadlines and milestones are achieved.
- Relevant qualification in Events, Marketing, or a relevant discipline is required.
- Previous experience in a corporate events role is highly desirable.

Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts a salary of $75,821 – $84,254 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
