OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to join the School of Arts and Humanities, providing specialised administrative support for the School. We are looking to recruit a Senior School Officer (Information Management) to support a broad range of processes contributing to the day-to-day functioning of the School.
THE ROLE
The role will focus on creating and maintaining information management solutions to support a broad range of processes contributing to the daily functioning of the School. There will be a particular focus on providing support for academic timetabling, maintaining and integrating key school information, documentation and data, as well as some data analytics. When problems arise, you will be expected to generate solutions in consultation with academic staff and senior colleagues and implement them successfully. On occasion, you may be required to assist with other general administrative work in the School, which may involve contracts, human resource management, and financial processes.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
You will be a self-motivated, solutions-focused individual who thrives in a busy and complex environment and enjoys working collaboratively. You will have experience and expertise in data management, timetabling or scheduling whether in higher education or another industry.
You will work in a supportive environment as a member of the School’s Operations Team, reporting to the Team Leader Teaching and Research Services. On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with academic and professional colleagues in the School as you support student placements across the School and/or information management across the School. You will often interact with other schools, central university services and key external stakeholders.

BENEFITS AND REMUNERATION
This position provides a full-time salary of $78,854 to $87,624 p.a plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
