The Senior Research Internships Coordinator is responsible for coordinating high quality higher degree by research (HDR) internships.

This opportunity is responsible for building strong and sustained relationships with industry partners to facilitate new internship opportunities and will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to industry engagement with key partners. The role will also provide service delivery to students and negotiate and liaise with host organisations and other stakeholders.

The Senior Research Internships Coordinator will work closely with the Adelaide Graduate Centre to facilitate and grow internship opportunities for PhD students, aligned to their research studies and aspirations.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships especially with industry stakeholders, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Proven high level knowledge and experience in coordinating internships, preferably in a higher education environment.
  • Proven commitment to collaborative and consultative styles of working and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with multiple stakeholders, facilitating complex discussions and negotiations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational and administrative skills, with acute record keeping and case management skills.
