About the role:

As the Senior Research Grants Officer, you will provide a pivotal point of contact between research partners, external agencies and Institute Directors, Faculty Associate Deans (Research) and colleagues in research support positions to ensure effective service delivery. You will have the opportunity to provide high-level professional support to ensure the effective pre-award and post-award management of the University's externally funded research grants. The Senior Research Grants Officer finds funding opportunities to increase total research income (government and non-government).

  • Total remuneration valued to $130,436 - $145,816 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $110,220 - $123,227 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
