The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • Level C - $130,939 - $150,813 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga or by negotiation (relocation allowance offered)

You will support and assist the Director and Deputy Director in the Education Research Centre within the School of Education, in building research, enhancing engagement with other academics, research, and policy entities and enriching dialogue with the global community.

You will be an emerging thought leader capable of inspiring and provoking critical discussion around Regional and Rural Education, Curriculum & Pedagogy, and Education Systems. The Senior Research Fellow will be expected to contribute to research leading to academic presentations and publications, coordinate research initiatives with national and international scholars, and extend the reach of the university via development of online resources.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant field
  • A record of significant research achievement
  • Significant knowledge and understanding with the education discipline gained through industry and / or scholarly activities
  • Capacity to utilise and embrace current and emerging technologies to achieve work objectives
