ONGOING, COMBINATION OF POSITIONS (to 1.6 FTE)

Overview
The ECU Psychological Counselling Support (PCS) team is seeking motivated and experienced Psychologists to provide individual counselling to current ECU students at our Joondalup Campus.

Due to the confidential nature of this service, current ECU Students will not be considered for the position.

Essential skills for this position include:

  • demonstrated psychological counselling experience
  • significant experience running groups and developing workshops and/or therapeutic groups for group programs
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work both independently and as part of the larger PCS team
  • Experience in a tertiary education setting would be an advantage, however, is not essential.

Minimum qualifications for the successful applicant will be full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Psychologists with five or more years’ experience in the field, OR those fully registered with AHPRA as a Psychologist with an approved area of practice in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and with more than three years specialist experience are encouraged to apply for a Senior Psychologist role.

Benefits & Remuneration
These combination of 1.6 FTE ongoing position attracts remuneration of either $93,378 to $104,628 for the HEW 7 Psychologist level or $106,877 to $120,376 for the HEW 8 Senior Psychologist role (paid on a pro-rata basis) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
