About This Opportunity 

The Senior Project Officer supports the delivery of projects by completing a range of activities including coordinating project planning, project communication, stakeholder engagements, project documentation, project deliverables, administration and other duties as required.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage all phases of projects (planning, delivery, monitoring, evaluation) to ensure smooth completion.

  • Organize project documentation, draft emails, and manage communication channels (including Monday.com).

  • Take minutes, schedule meetings, create documents, and assist with project deliverables.

  • Perform complex data entry, retrieval, and document management tasks.

  • Coordinate administrative tasks, support project and ITaLI teams, and manage SharePoint & Teams file structures.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong working relationships and support their needs (learning designers, academics, ITaLI team).

  • Assist with website edits and provide ad-hoc event support.


About You  

  • Possess a Bachelor degree in a relevant field with experience, or demonstrate equivalent experience and/or education/training.

  • Proficiency in project management tools like Monday.com (or fast adaptability to new software) is essential.

  • Demonstrate a high level of skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) within a Microsoft Teams environment.

  • Exhibit excellent time management skills, effectively managing competing priorities while keeping stakeholders informed through clear communication (written & oral), including compiling comprehensive meeting minutes.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
