The Opportunity

The Enterprise Education team which sits in the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) and Senior Vice-President has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Senior Project Manager.

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of complex projects with University-wide impact relating to Enterprise Education initiatives. The role will include a primary focus on supporting the setup of professional development programs offered externally to the University.

As the successful candidate it will be your responsibility to lead, manage and oversee a portfolio of complex and high impact projects, with an emphasis on project delivery methodologies, establishing and influencing the strategic planning process, reviewing strategic priorities and alignment with business requirements. Additionally, you will provide leadership and expertise in project management, ensuring projects are scoped, risks mitigated, legal implications considered, resources are allocated, timeframes are met, budgets adhered to and outcomes delivered. 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a postgraduate qualification in project management, business or another relevant discipline and extensive project management experience; or extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
