The Organisation
ClimateWorks Australia is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. It was co-founded in 2009 by The Myer Foundation and Monash University and works within the Monash Sustainable Development Institute. ClimateWorks Australia also benefits from strong relationships with an international network of affiliated organisations that support effective policies, financing and action for greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
The Opportunity
In this role you will support the design and delivery of programs in the Land, Food and Oceans system. Leading work in the Land Use Futures program you will develop information and prompt action towards sustainable food and land use systems in Australia.
Working with an established stakeholder network, you will lead engagement activities across the program and support the development of new partnerships and collaborations as the program moves into new phases of work.
Bringing your strong strategic thinking skills to bear, you will synthesise and draw out key information and advice for decision makers from the Land Use Futures work program, translating system strategies and information into clear advice and actionable steps.
Reporting to the Program Impact Manager (Food, Land and Oceans) you will work in close collaboration with the Food, Land and Oceans team and other teams across the organisation to ensure ClimateWorks’ impact on sustainability and emissions reduction is realised.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
