About the Role:

The People and Culture Department at Victoria University (VU) is responsible for all aspects of human resource management within the University including the development of human resource strategy, policy and procedures and the provision of services and advice on human resource management for general, academic and TAFE teaching staff.

As the Senior Project and Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing high level project and administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer and the People and Culture Leadership Team.

This is a full time continuing position (36.75 hours per week), HEP Level 7 Classification, Salary Range $94,526 - $102,320, plus 17% Superannuation. The position is located at the University’s Footscray Park Campus and the City Tower Campus.

You will need to have:

  • Exceptional organisational, communication and project skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to develop and implement sound solutions, alongside a focus on continuous business improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of processes, policies and procedures to ensure that highest standards of confidentiality and efficiency are obtained.
  • Highly developed skills in all aspects of the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to support the creation of content that enables VU’s complete digital footprint (web, social media, EDM campaigns).
  • Responsive, with the ability to deal with a high volume workload, competing priorities and unexpected events, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • Collaborative working approach and a keen team player.
