People and Culture provide strategic leadership and operational advice to the University, focusing on building a positive work environment that reflects our values. About the Role
As Senior Organisational Development Consultant, you will have the opportunity to shape strategically aligned programs, frameworks and initiatives that build a positive and inclusive workplace culture, improve engagement, and promote staff wellbeing.
Reporting to the Associate Director Organisational Development and Diversity, and as part of the broader Organisational Development and Diversity Team, the role will lead University-wide initiatives including:
Managing the University’s staff engagement survey and action planning process
Identifying opportunities for positive culture change, staff engagement and improvement
Coordinating the professional staff awards program
Providing organisational development advice and expertise to business areas
Driving improvement in the performance review and development process
Implementing initiatives aligned to the staff wellbeing action plan
About You
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar role and possess the drive and initiative to deliver high quality outcomes. You will be motivated to make a difference, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. You’ll be adept at building relationships, coaching, and influencing at all levels of the organisation, able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic People & Culture and University objectives.
You will also be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
Building organisation wide initiatives that drive positive workplace culture and engagement.
Knowledge and understanding of organisational culture and approaches to positively influence cultural change.
Development and management of OD strategies across a large and complex organisation.
