About the opportunity

In this position you will play a key role in supporting the Student Administration portfolio’s approach to student communications and knowledge-management.

You will make a significant contribution to the development, implementation and review of communication and digital content initiatives that enable a positive student experience and support centrally managed processes, services and activities across the student lifecycle.

You will also provide guidance and support to staff across Student Administration Services on communication and web publishing best-practice, supporting initiatives to increase the capability of the broader team.

About you

  • experience implementing targeted communication strategies using a range of channels and approaches, including web digital channels
  • experience working on content management platforms
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • strong skills in stakeholder engagement
  • strong organisational and project management skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines, assess priorities and manage competing deadlines.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
