About the position

The Senior Officer will assume the lead coordination role in the university-wide Assessment Renewal Project.

In this role, the Senior Officer will interact with a wide range of employees within the organisation by working with the teams responsible for educational services, learning and teaching teams in the schools, central support teams, and important workflow systems.

In the current learning environment, your responsibilities will include scheduling project support and workflows necessary for mitigating the risk to assessment integrity. You will also be responsible for compiling comprehensive information and analytics, maintaining communication mechanisms, and providing reporting data.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

  • Degree with subsequent relevant experience to consolidate the theories and principles learned, or extensive experience, leading to either the development of specialist expertise or to the development of broad knowledge in an administrative field, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies, procedures or systems and interpretation in the application of policy and/or precedent.
  • Ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication abilities both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
