  • HEO8 - TRP $115,970 - $122,821 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation

About the position

In partnership with Division Leadership, the Senior Management Accountant will develop business financial plans in line with University operating plans and the University strategic plan. The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing and overseeing the University wide financial management frameworks within the Portfolio/Division.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • Proven strong experience in utilizing financial systems and tools (including advanced level in Excel) to produce meaningful analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve stated outcomes
  • Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with and influencing senior management
  • Demonstrated experience managing and controlling budgets/resources/funding and an understanding of financial management procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships
