  • Remuneration: $134,162-$153,921 + clinical loading + 17% superannuation (additional income to be negotiated directly with the UNSW Health Service for provision of services)

Reporting to the Head of School (academic performance will be jointly supervised by the Head of School, Psychiatry and Head of Clinical Research, Black Dog Institute) this Senior Lecturer position has been developed from a partnership between School of Psychiatry, the Black Dog Institute and UNSW Health Services. The partnership aims to develop a program of research, education and clinical psychiatry practice focused on the mental health and wellbeing of the UNSW student community. You will conduct high quality research in this area and contribution to educational excellence. In addition, the postholder will provide clinical psychiatry input to UNSW Health Services.

Who you are

You have a medical degree (MBBS or MD) with medical registration in Australia. Further postgraduate qualifications (PhD, or equivalent research degree; or relevant other postgraduate degree) are desirable as well as FRANZCP and clinical and/or clinical academic experience in the field of student or youth mental health.
