The Opportunity

For the second year running, Monash University has been ranked number two in the world for Pharmacy and Pharmacology in the 2024 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject!

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is currently recruiting for a Senior Lecturer to join the Medicinal Chemistry Theme. 

As the Senior Lecturer, you will be expected to contribute to the Faculty’s undergraduate education and postgraduate training programs in pharmacy and pharmaceutical science. You will also develop an independent research program within Medicinal Chemistry. 

Reporting to the Head of Theme, you will lead research and education strategy within the Faculty, broadening collaborative partnerships with external agencies, academics and industry. You will also contribute to teaching, including preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, seminars and clinical supervision. 

The successful candidate will hold a doctoral or master qualification in the relevant discipline, or an equivalent accreditation or standing.
