The School of BioSciences is seeking two Level C academics with expertise and previous experience in biotechnology and its commercialisation.

The School is delivering a highly successful on-campus Master of Biotechnology (course work) program. This course is designed to develop leaders in the exciting and ever-growing sectors of this vibrant industry. The subjects within this course adopt an interdisciplinary and international approach to respond to the complex and growing challenges of the emergence of new technologies in the areas of health, medicine, agribusiness, food and other areas of human technologies. Students are taught the multifaceted and challenging requirements that biotechnology companies need to manage successfully to operate effectively, satisfy stakeholder issues and return value to their investors.

The incumbents will contribute to coordinating and delivering subjects as part of the Masters of Biotechnology course and the undergraduate BSc Biotechnology Major. The incumbents will also contribute to continuous curriculum development, improvement of teaching delivery, especially for a dual on-campus and online delivery mode.

These are Teaching Specialist roles, reporting to the Director of the Masters of Biotechnology.
