Consolidating engineering, economics, and science capabilities to form the WA School of Mines (WASM): Minerals, Energy and Chemical Engineering, the School attracts strong industry partnerships and investment in high-tech facilities, operating from campuses in Perth and the historic mining town of Kalgoorlie located in the Goldfield region of Western Australia.

The Discipline of Minerals and Energy Economics (DMEE) has an international reputation for excellence in minerals and energy economics education and research.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Senior Lecturer to make significant contributions to teaching and research.

You will deliver high quality and innovating teaching to postgraduate students across a range of models, principally in the areas of Primary Energy Economics and Energy Finance.

You will also undertake nationally and internationally competitive and high-qualify research in minerals and/or energy economics and financial modelling of alternative technologies.

  • A doctoral qualification in energy economics or a relevant
  • A demonstrated capacity for research in minerals and/or energy economics and policy
  • Demonstrated teaching skills at the professional post-graduate
  • Experience in curriculum development and unit/course
  • An established record of research outputs/creative works in high quality refereed academic journals/outlets consistent with the discipline.
