An exciting, full time, continuing position has become available for a Senior Lecturer of Construction Management to join the School of Engineering and Technology at our Sydney campus. We are seeking an experienced academic to play a key role in the utilisation of innovative pedagogical practice that stimulates learning and guides the development of interdisciplinary research across the School.

 

Our ideal candidate will contribute to the academic, scholarly, professional and research requirements of the School and be a key contributor to research output in the college of Project Management, Built Environment, Asset & Maintenance Management.

Position Requirements

 

  • Possession of a doctoral qualification (PhD) in Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • High level of knowledge of the Australian National Construction Code (NCC) and Building Legislation.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education.
  • Track record of securing competitive research funding in collaboration with industries to respond to the community needs.
  • Track record of publications in high impact peer reviewed journals in Construction Management or other Built Environment related fields.
  • A well-established national and international research profile and national and international research collaboration
  • Understanding of current professional and education issues in higher education and the ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues to support students and promote CQUniversity.
  • Demonstrated capacity to engage and network effectively with industry and community partners and stakeholders and secure external funding and research collaboration.
