Overview
The Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Equity and Indigenous) is responsible for delivering high quality enabling programs that meet the needs of pre-tertiary students, schools and communities, and progressing embedding of equity and inclusion principles across institutional activities for staff and students at ECU.

The Academic Pathway Programs is responsible for delivering high quality enabling programs that meet the needs of pre-tertiary students, schools and communities. A key focus of the area is creating university pathways for diverse cohorts of students in metropolitan and regional contexts.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced educator for appointment to the role of Senior Lecturer, Access and Equity. The role will provide leadership in delivering excellence in teaching and learning within enabling courses, and play a key role in expanding innovative and inclusive curriculum and teaching practices across the university.

In collaboration with the Director, Access and Equity and colleagues, the Senior Lecturer will be responsible for making significant and wide-ranging contribution to leadership in excellence and equity and inclusive practice in higher education.

Applicants should have experience in leadership in teaching and learning, curriculum design and academic governance. The applicant will be able to demonstrate skills and achievement in supporting students’ transition to university, and contemporary understandings of and a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusive practice.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $124,522 to $143,081 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
