Our Health and Safety area are seeking to fill a key role in their team as a Senior Health and Safety Advisor (HazMat/Dangerous Goods).

With a background in chemicals, dangerous good or hazardous materials, your qualifications and experience will be highly regarding, ensuring that the University meets its compliance obligations with the Dangerous Goods licencing requirements and health and safety requirements.

You’ll be knowledgeable in relevant legislative, regulatory and statutory responsibilities as well as Australian Standards and codes of practice as it relates to this position.

Monitoring risk assessments, ensuring our internal reporting obligations are met, and investigating and analysing incidents and hazards, providing advice and guidance and monitoring actions are key duties of your new role.
