About the opportunity  

 

Opportunity for an experienced Communications Manager to join the InsideOut team. InsideOut is Australia’s national institute for research and clinical excellence in eating disorders with global research partnerships. We aim to transform the treatment landscape for eating disorders in Australia, and ultimately find a cure.  

 

The Communications Manager will support the team working on Federal and State projects with the development, implementation and maintenance of internal and external research communications including publications, reports, social media and recruitment for research studies. Maintaining a high level of stakeholder management with confidentiality and discretion. 

 

 

About you

  • hold tertiary qualifications in a directly related field such as marketing, commerce or business and equivalent experience 

  • experience in developing and coordinating marketing, promotional and communication initiatives 

  • ability to maintain high level of interpersonal relations with staff, residents, the media and marketing units 

  • hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to undertake tasks and write in a creative manner and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail 

  • experience using Canva, content management system, Facebook analytics and business suite, and Google alerts or similar 

  • experience and understanding of Health, Research or similar disciplines are desirable. 

  

Other 

 

Your employment is conditional upon the completion of all role required pre-employment or background checks in terms satisfactory to the University. Similarly, your ongoing employment is conditional upon the satisfactory maintenance of all relevant clearances and background check requirements. If you do not meet these conditions, the University may take any necessary step, including the termination of your employment.
