The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Responsible for the delivery of key corporate activities aimed at strategically enhancing institutional reputation and relationships with key industry and government stakeholders
The Senior External Engagement Officer will play an integral role in the ongoing implementation and management of the Industry Engagement Framework and associated Industry Advisory Boards.
The role will support the government engagement strategy through an array of undertakings including the delivery of strategic University activities focused on showcasing the work of the University to a range of key external stakeholders.
To be successful you will need:
- Proven ability and experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships, especially with government and industry stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading the development and deployment of events, activities and projects which are designed to strategically enhance institutional reputation.
- Experience in leading, developing and implementing communication and engagement initiatives.
- Project management experience and ability to be self-organised and adaptable to effectively prioritise multiple concurrent projects and work within tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders and communicate, influence and negotiate outcomes.
