The Senior Digital Marketing Producer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of digital marketing initiatives such as multi-channel advertising campaigns and coordinating video and photography production with external companies. The role facilitates the implementation of marketing and communications strategies that effectively recruit prospective domestic and international students into the Faculty of Business & Law’s courses.

This role works flexibly between the office and home, with an expectation of 2 days a week in the office. This role is also a fixed-term position, ending 30 September 2024.

As a Senior Digital Marketing Producer, you will:

  • Develop, build and support campaigns across social media and display channels (such as Meta, Google Ads, Adobe Advertising, and Tik Tok)
  • Design and develop campaign assets (such as static creative or animated content)
  • Support core digital marketing programs with short-form copywriting across paid search, digital advertising and retargeting campaigns
  • Project manage and lead the faculty’s video approach, working in-house and/or with external companies to produce video assets for use in digital campaigns and on the Deakin website
  • Support the execution of the Faculty and University level marketing plan under the direction of the Marketing Manager (FOBL) and Digital Marketing Coordinator

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (in areas such as advertising, media communications, graphic design, marketing, multimedia, social media etc.)
  • Knowledge of the digital media landscape and content requirements for each media channel
  • Desirable: Experience in the development of digital marketing campaigns using platforms such as Meta, Google Ads (Google Display Network/YouTube), and Adobe Ads; and experience with video editing or producing animated assets
  • Experience with:
    • Developing creative assets across above the line (ATL), digital and social marketing channels
    • Project management processes and managing projects end-to-end for the production of photo and video assets and/or video editing capabilities (utilising project management tools e.g. Monday.com)
    • Working with the Adobe Creative Suite such as Premiere, After Effects or Photoshop
    • Working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to balance priorities and resources and managing those relationships.
