Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a database specialist to join our team as we embark on an exciting phase in the transformational future of Edith Cowan University (ECU).

The Senior Database Coordinator role will suit an individual with a background in information technology, CRM coordination and fundraising with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills looking to grow their career. This role will be responsible for supporting the Development & Alumni Relations team by developing and implementing robust and effective data management procedures.

This will include:

  • Maximising the usage of the database
  • Supporting the team in understanding current and future supporters
  • Helping the DAR Leadership team make informed decisions about Alumni and Fundraising activities through the development of meaningful reports and dashboards to represent the data

This is a great opportunity for an individual with a unique combination of strong knowledge and experience of a CRM database system (Salesforce preferred), and an understanding of the business processes involved in stakeholder relations and fundraising. The successful individual will have the ability to investigate and analyse key issues and work closely with colleagues in the Office of Development & Alumni Relations and in IT to develop practical solutions. Managing competing timelines and priorities, data system management are essential skills for this role.  They will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support the team as we bring a contemporary lens to our business operation.  

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations is responsible for building the foundations of lifelong relationships between the University’s alumni, business, and the community. The Office comprises three teams – Alumni Relations, Development and Operations. This role is part of the Operations team providing support in an agile environment. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, high-energy team as ECU enters an exciting and transformational phase, including the opening of Western Australia’s first comprehensive city university campus.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $90,220 to $101,090 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
