Summary:  Lead the development of a range of online and face-to-face training targeting staff members on preventing sexual harassment and sexual assault in the workplace.

  • Part time 0.5 – Fixed term until December 2022

About the position

The Senior Coordinator, Education and Training (Sexual Harm), will lead the development of a range of online and face-to-face training targeting staff members on preventing sexual harassment and sexual assault in the workplace. This includes training managers and supervisors regarding their legislative and WorkSafe responsibilities.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate inclusivity and tailor communication in a way that is meaningful to the audience – consistently modelling accountability, connectedness, innovation and care
  • Extensive understanding of sexual harm in the context of a workplace, including legislative and obligations under WorkSafe
  • Extensive experience in responding to disclosures and reports of sexual harm in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Extensive and contemporary knowledge of gender-based violence, family violence, stalking and sexual harm
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking, ability to generate ideas to solve local problems and recommend improvements to current work practices.
