Senior Coordinator, Education and Training (Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion)

Summary:  Lead the development of a range of online and face-to-face training targeting staff members on promoting a healthy, resilient, psychologically safe and inclusive workplace.

About the position

The Senior Coordinator, Education and Training (Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion), will lead the development of a range of online and face-to-face training targeting staff members on promoting a healthy, resilient, psychologically safe and inclusive workplace. This includes training managers and supervisors regarding their legislative and WorkSafe responsibilities.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate inclusivity and tailor communication in a way that is meaningful to the audience – consistently modelling accountability, connectedness, innovation and care
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking, ability to generate ideas to solve local problems and recommend improvements to current work practices.
  • Proven ability to focus on objectives rather than procedures and precedents.
  • Extensive understanding of psychosocial hazards in a workplace context, including legislative and obligations under WorkSafe.
  • Extensive and contemporary knowledge on workplace psychological health, resilience, and wellness.
