FULL-TIME, ONGOING POSITION 

Overview

Strategic and Governance Services (SGSC) supports ECU’s Council, senior executive, schools, professional service centres and other key groups that require advice and assistance from the strategic and operational governance functions of the University.  

The Strategic and Governance Services Centre is comprised of the Directorate and six functional areas supported by a Centre Operations team:

  • Academic Quality and Standards;
  • Enterprise Risk;
  • Legal and Integrity;
  • Policy and Governance Projects;
  • Strategy and Performance;
  • University Governance.

The Centre Operations team provides broad centre administrative support as well as administrative support to ECU’s Council and key University Committees. The Senior Centre Operations Officer is responsible for the effective, efficient and timely completion of projects and assignments through the use of high-level administrative and interpersonal skills, and ensuring compliance with ECU Policies, processes and standards. 

This role may be assigned specific accountability for the provision of high- level administrative support to specialised functions within SGSC including governance services, legislative and policy development and Executive Officer support to designated university committees.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $75,821 to $84,254 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
