- Support the expansion and growth of the new WA Creative Tech Innovation Hub
The Position
This is an exciting new position responsible for effective senior administrative support to the Western Australia Creative Tech Innovation Hub (WACTIH), including developing correspondence; planning, maintaining and co-ordinating data for drafting reports including financial; providing senior administrative support for events, workshops and seminars, and for the Director and related projects.
The Person
To succeed in this pivotal support role, will require the following experience and capability.
- Experience providing high-level administrative support within a medium to large organisation, data management and reporting including accessing data from a range of corporate systems including financial
- Experience in identifying and implementing process improvement, problem solving, and strong time management
- Exceptional customer focussed approach including providing senior administrative support within a busy office environment
- Exceptional attention to detail for the purpose of reviewing, drafting, and co-ordinating correspondence, documents, minutes, agendas, and events focused at key internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working within the university sector is highly desirable

The Position Context
The Western Australia Creative Tech Innovation Hub (WACTIH) is located in Bunbury and receives core funding from the Western Australian Government’s New Industries Fund and as such, has a key role to play in economic diversification and jobs growth. The WACTIH will accelerate the development of the creative technologies industry and support new and emerging creative technology businesses and small to medium enterprises growth and participation regionally. This is a critical support role for the Director and key stakeholders to progress achievement of the many exciting projects in development.
Benefits & Remuneration
This part-time (80%) fixed term position attracts remuneration of $75,821 to $84,254 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
