About the position

This position is responsible for building strong relationships on behalf of the La Trobe Business School (LBS )with central divisions in order to achieve its strategic goal of recruiting high quality student applications.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the LBS executive and central teams and develop and review marketing content that enrich LBS's online presence, enhance LBS reputation, improve web-based course information, and students’ digital experience.
  • Foster collaboration with key stakeholders to develop, deliver, and coordinate a diverse range of digital and print content, supporting both internal and external communication activities at LBS.
  • Collaborate with central teams to support student recruitment events on and off-campus, targeting both school leaver, non-school leaver segments, and TAFE students for LBS.
  • Support the Domestic Student Recruitment team in managing relationships with key Schools, representing LBS at career expos, consultations with potential future students and provide reports on activities and improvement opportunities by LBS.
  • Contribute to various activities that improve student campus experience, coordinate LBS orientation sessions, promote extracurricular activities, and support LBS student ambassador program and clubs.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree with subsequent relevant experience, leading to either the development of specialist expertise or to the development of broad knowledge in the field, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Possess well-developed verbal and writen communication skills, stakeholder engagement, and management skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with senior academic staff, potential postgraduate students, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of office practice and procedures, with advanced skills in word processing and relevant office software.
  • Have experience in organising student-related actvities and event management.
  • Be willing to undertake manual tasks, including loading and unloading promotional materials.
