Overview
The School of Engineering offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a broad range of engineering disciplines whilst maintaining a strong research profile. In alignment with the University’s vision to be recognised for our world ready graduates and leading edge research, the School is continually expanding its teaching and research facilities. With three buildings across the Joondalup campus the new Engineering Annex is the most recent addition to the School, built to accommodate specialist research labs and is fitted out with state-of-the-art equipment.

The School Officer position is responsible for effectively providing a broad range of administrative tasks, functions and services to the School and its staff. The incumbent is expected to perform frontline administrative tasks as well as provide accurate information, advice and direction on a wide variety of administrative matters.

The Role
The School Officer is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support and services to the School. The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with excellent attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes
  • Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing, part time up to 0.6FTE position attracts remuneration of $66,813 - $71,161 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
