Overview

The School of Science at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in a wide range of disciplines.  Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to: biology, bioinformatics, cyber security, computer science, counter terrorism security, physics, information technology, environmental science and management, chemistry, mathematics, data science, horticulture, with a focus on the continued growth of the disciplines.

This School Officer role is primarily responsible for but not restricted to contract and payroll administration for the discipline, assisting with travel arrangements, purchasing and credit card reconciliation, arranging and providing the executive support in committees and meetings, general office and staff supporting duties and support for the Associate Dean Discipline. 

Selection Criteria 

• Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures 
• Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes
• Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team 

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration

This part-time position attract remuneration of $69,152 to $73,652 PA pro rata, plus 17% superannuation.
