Overview
The School of Science at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in a wide range of disciplines.  Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to biology, bioinformatics, cyber security, computer science, counter terrorism security, physics, information technology, environmental science and management, chemistry, horticulture, mathematics, data science and sustainability, with a focus on the continued growth of the disciplines.

These School Officer roles are primarily responsible for but not restricted to staff contract and payroll administration, teaching and learning support activities, the executive assistant role in discipline committees and meetings, general office and staff supporting duties and support for the Associate Dean Discipline.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes
  • Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
These full-time positions attract remuneration of $66,813 to $71,161 pa (HEW 4) plus 17% superannuation.
